Our mission is to honor and glorify our heavenly Father in everything we do. We seek to love God and love our neighbors – in Salem, in our church, in our workplaces, and around our homes.

Immanuel’s Reformed Church is a member congregation of the United Reformed Churches in North America (URCNA). We are located in beautiful Salem, Oregon.

The first service of Immanuel’s Reformed Church was held on December 22, 1991. Seventy-five people attended this initial worship service with much praise and thanksgiving to our God for his faithful care.

It is obvious we are a CHURCH. The building itself is not the church. It is only a place where we worship on Sundays and engage in our ministries during the week. Our church is a gathering of believers who together make up the family of God. People are drawn to our church by the true preaching of the Word, a balanced emphasis on God’s law and His grace, joyful singing of historic psalms and hymns and fellowship with other Christians. Our theological heritage goes back to the sixteenth century Protestant Reformation and we seek to continue that Reformation teaching still today at Immanuel’s Reformed Church. We believe that the Bible alone is God’s true word for our lives and that we are saved by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Click here to find out more about what we believe.

There are 119 congregations in the URC and that number continues to grow. It is our desire to remain true to the teachings of the Bible and to honor and glorify our heavenly Father in everything we do.
